ACT maintains a complete team of designers using CAD with 3D modeling to complement our engineering services. Our skilled designers work closely with our engineers to develop the detailed drawings, diagrams and documentation required for your projects.

Our full engineering design, development, and fabrication services allow us to handle any project at any level. ACT headquarters in Florence, Alabama occupy over 24,500 square feet of office, design and laboratory space as well as 65,000 square feet of fabrication and pilot plant facilities. Our chemical laboratory provides testing and support for bench-scale and pilot scale processes as they are being developed. The availability of engineers, on-site tests, and fabrication facilitates a quick turnaround during pilot testing which ultimately translates into significant cost and time savings for the client. Our bench scale and pilot scale facilities include secure areas for your sensitive projects. We can assist in process and product development, scale-up development, and short-term production runs. We welcome our clients on-site during their process development. In addition, we provide personnel and custom equipment as needed. Our fabrication shop is an ASME VIII Div 1 pressure vessel shop able to build custom pressure systems and reactors. Our craftsmen are skilled at working with a wide assortment of materials including metals from steel to exotic alloys and aluminum, wood, plastic, and fiberglass.
