Rotary Drums for Conditioning of Solids
At Applied Chemical Technology (ACT), we build rotary drums used in the conditioning of solid materials like fertilizer, phosphate rock, or tar sands. Whether you need to reduce tackiness or dustiness, our rotary conditioning drums are built with quality and safety in mind. Our team of engineers, designers, and craftsmen to size and design the right drum for your specific needs.
Our rotary conditioners are designed and built with the special internals needed to process your material. For processes requiring low attrition, we build drums to gently handle your material. However, our conditioning drums may also be built with internals to promote attrition. We build conditioning drums that perform multiple functions for those process situations where multiple functions in a single drum work best. We know that a conditioning drum may need to have additional zones for other functions such as cooling, drying, or screening. Our experience allows us to help you identify the best internal design for your specific process. In addition to the rotary drum itself, we design rotary drum systems that include air handling, product screening and recycle, cooling, and more.
